1. How to use Epicare™?

   
   All you need to do is to
   • bend the spring into an inverted “U”,
   • place it against the area on the face where hair is to be removed and
   • rotate Epicare™ in an inward and outward motion to manually remove hair on your face.

   TIP
   Please make sure that you have washed and pat dry your face before using Epicare™
   Wash your face again after using Epicare™ and follow by your usual beauty routine of using a toner and moisturiser.

2. Is the facial hair removal by Epicare™ permanent?

   
   No.

   The facial hair will grow back. What is so wonderful about Epicare™ is that you do not have to wait for the hair to grow to a certain length before you remove it. The moment it is slightly more than stubble Epicare™ can be used. Epicare™ is well known for it's special quality in removing ultra fine facial hair.

3. How long before I need to use Epicare™ again?

   
   Hair re-growth varies from person to person, and depends on your hormones and hair type. It may take anywhere from 3 days to 4 weeks before you need to use Epicare™ again.

4. Can Epicare™ be used on other parts of the body?

   
   No.
   Epicare™ was designed for use on the upper lip, chin, cheeks, nose and neck areas . It should not be used to remove hair from the eyebrows, as it will pull your eyelashes out! Yes, it is that effective!!
   
   It should also not be used to remove hair from the ears, armpits, legs, back, bikini area or any other body area not specified.

5. Can I share Epicare™ with another person, eg, sister, mum?

   
   For hygiene purpose, it is not recommended to share your Epicare™ Face Threading Tool.

   Epicare™ is a very personal grooming product ( just like your personal toothbrush ) and it should only be used by 1 user.

6. Can I use Epicare™ multiple times or is there an expiry date on the Epicare™ packaging?

   
   Epicare™ is a multiple-use facial hair remover tool and there is no expiry date at all.

Effects of using Epicare™

1. Is hair removal by Epicare™ painful?

   
   There is some amount of pain similar to traditional threading or waxing as hair is being pulled from the roots. However, with regular use the skin will get desensitized and as you get better you probably will feel nothing at all.

2. Will hair regrowth be coarser after using Epicare™?

   
   Regular use of Epicare™ may result in finer facial hair as hair is removed from the roots.

3. Will using Epicare™ cause an allergic reaction or skin irritation?

   
   No.
   
   Epicare™ is safe and natural and if you do not have an allergic reaction or skin irritation to tweezing (where hair is also removed from the roots), then you should not have any allergic reaction with Epicare™.

   If you have really sensitive skin, you may experience a slight redness, which should fade quickly.
   

4. I have tried conventional threading and found that my skin would suffer a break out afterwards. Will using Epicare™ cause the same reaction?

   
   It should not. However, it is suggested that your face is cleansed, toned and moisturized after each Epicare™ use.

   For those with really sensitive skin, apply a thin layer of antibiotic cream such as Neosporin.

   Please note that there are many reasons why outbreaks happen, to avoid/minimise the risk of an outbreak, always wash your face before removing your facial hair by traditional face threading or before using Epicare™.

   Sometimes, when you are doing face threading in a salon, if your face is oily the threading professional may apply a thin layer of white powder on your face to absorb the oil and to make it easier for the thread to "pick" up the fine facial hair. This could trigger a major outbreak!

   Using Epicare™ in the comfort of your home will allow you to wash your face thoroughly before removing facial hair. You not only avoid the risk of an outbreak, you save valuable time and money too!

5. Will using Epicare™ remove a layer of my skin?

   
   No.

   Epicare™ only snags the facial hair and pulls them by the roots, unlike waxing where a thin layer of skin is also removed leaving your skin red and raw.

How to maintain your Epicare™

1. How do I keep Epicare™ clean?

   
   It is important to clean your Epicare™ after each use.

   To clean Epicare™, bend Epicare™ like an inverted “U” and shake off trapped hair. You can also wipe with a dry clean cloth or tissue.
   You should never wash your Epicare™ under running water.

2. How long will Epicare™ last? How long before it needs to be replaced?

   
   The recommended usage period for Epicare™ is 6- 8 months provided the spring is handled with care and not exposed to dampness.

3. Are there parts that need to be replaced with Epicare™?

   
   No.

   Once the spring’s elasticity wares off or the spring is rusted, it has to be replaced.

Who can use Epicare™?

1. I am pregnant and my doctor advise against using any chemical based products to remove my facial hair. Is it safe for me to use Epicare™?

   
   Definitely.
